There are a number of naturally-occurring and man-made substances that are toxic to cockroaches but not to humans or animals. Cockroaches can build immunity to these substances individually but we discovered - through experimentation in a variety of environments - that a combination of various substances in paste and powder forms wipes out cockroaches exponentially.

It doesn't just kill the cockroaches that you see, which is all that spraying chemicals and baits does. No, the Roachworks approach wipes out the entire colony. How? The toxicity of our treatment to cockroaches is slow-acting. Once ingested, they start to feel sick and head back to the nest. Believe it or not, cockroaches are cannibals and once the formula is ingested, the sick ones get eaten which poisons the others, creating a ripple or 'pandemic' effect which exponentially wipes them out.

My name's Tom and I'm the founder of Roachworks.
The research for Roachworks began in 2014 when our family home became infested with cockroaches. We first noticed baby ones crawling all over everything in the kitchen, then they started popping up in the bathrooms and bedrooms. It was unnerving. We tried just about every product the supermarket had on offer but nothing seemed to last for more than a few weeks.

We tried getting a professional pest company to help but even with all their industrial-grade spraying - which we didn't like doing in our home - the roaches were back within weeks.
Fascinated by this, we started researching cockroaches: where they live, how they breed, where they travel, how they behave and what’s toxic to them. We began experimenting with products, testing different ways to remove them. Through science-based trial and error, we discovered a combination that wipes out their homes - the roaches vanish in a few days and don't come back. It’s incredible. Sure, you still get the occasional big one walking or flying in if a door is open but they soon seem to get the message and don’t nest. If ever we spotted baby roaches again, we just give them another dose of the formula. A top-up once a year seems to rid them for good.
